Moana Hope

Moana Hope is a prominent name in the Australian sports industry, widely recognized for her exceptional skills as a former professional Australian rules footballer. Moana started playing football at an early age and quickly showed immense talent.

In 2017, Moana joined the Collingwood Football Club for the inaugural AFL Women’s season and played 13 matches over two seasons. She then joined the North Melbourne Football Club in 2019, playing seven matches in her one season stint. As an AFL Women’s player, she quickly gained admiration for her speed, agility, and fierce determination to succeed.

Throughout her career, Moana has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to football. In 2014, she was awarded the VFL Women’s leading goalkicker award with 60 goals, 24 more than the next closest player. In 2016, she made history by becoming one of the first women to sign with an AFL team, the Collingwood Magpies.
