The dedicated and motivational former sportsman Nathan Stupar is now an entrepreneur. He is best known for his eight-year NFL career as a professional American football linebacker with the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants. In 2016 he established The State of Hope Foundation with his wife Marissa, and life-long friend Joe Gazza. It is a non-profit organisation that provides necessities and positive experiences for youth with adverse childhood experiences as well as for low-income families and single parents.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Stupar proved to be a natural on the American football field during his High School years. He attended Penn State where he helped his side become Big Ten champions in 2008. After graduating he was picked by the Oakland Raiders in the 7th round of the 2012 NFL draft. He signed with their practice squad and was later released. He then signed with the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, before moving to the San Francisco 49ers in January 2013. He was released in November and signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In August 2014 he was released and signed with the Atlanta Falcons, being added to their 53-man roster. In March 2016 he signed a three-year contract with the New Orleans Saints. Then in September 2018 he signed with the New York Giants. He remained with the side until he was released in October 2019, and then retired from the game.
Stupar regularly connects with his legions followers and fans through Instagram, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos about his life around community, family and football. He is available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform, and has an official website, stateofhopefoundation.org.
