Footballer and manager Phil Neville has had a stellar career both on and off the pitch. He started out playing for Manchester United as one of the legendary‘Fergie’s Fledglings’ alongside teammates David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and brother Gary, all of whom were mentored by Sir Alex Ferguson. A versatile midfielder Neville joined the senior team in 1995 and made an astonishing 263 appearances for the club. After being named the Young Player of the Year in 1994 he was part of the team that lifted the FA Cup three times and won the Premier League six times. After a massively successful run with Manchester United Neville made the move to Everton in 2005 where he stayed for 8 seasons and was quickly named as team captain. Internationally Neville was capped 59 times for England and took to the pitch as the youngest member of the Euro 96 squad under manager Terry Venables.After retiring from playing professionally Neville secured his UEFA Pro Licence and was drafted into the coaching staff for the England Under 21 squad in 2012.
