Rafi Gavron is the wonderful actor best known for his appearances in a multitude of high profile films, starring alongside other fantastic actors such as Dwayne Johnson, Michael Cera, Lady Gaga and Kat Dennings, not to mention many others.
Bursting onto our screens as a parkour-pro thief in the feature film Breaking And Entering, first released in 2006, and performing some of the difficult stunts and tricks himself, Gavron’s dedication and hard work paid off as he earned himself a nomination for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards. What followed was a line of scene stealing performances in a wide array of films, ranging from his role in the indie romance classic Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist in 2008, appearing as Nick’s gay band mate, to his performance as Farid, a character from The Book Of One Thousand And One Nights brought into the real world in the feature film Inkheart alongside Brendan Fraser and Helen Mirren released in 2009. He also had supporting roles in action thriller Stitch in 2013, action adventure Tracers in 2015, American drama The Land released a year later and A Star Is Born, released in 2018.
Aside from his film successes, Gavron has also featured in various television shows, including a recurring role in the brilliant series 24 as Hamid Al-Zarin, and his appearance as Bug or Bobby in the TV show Life Unexpected. He also played hired rogue Duro in HBO’s period drama Rome, and most recently, The Godfather Of Harlem in 2019.
