Ramazan Emeev is a combat fighter and mixed martial artist from Russia who currently competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Emeev’s passion for combat sports started early, with the young fighter training in freestyle wrestling from the age of 6. He also trained in other combat sports, winning the Dagestan National Pankration Championship in 2009 and making his professional MMA debut in the same year. The following year he was signed with ProFC, competing in several fights as part of the Union Nation Cup. Between 2010 and 2013, Emeev built up an impressive win streak of eight fights, signing with M-1 Global as one of the promotion’s most promising prospects. In 2012 he won the M-1 Global Middleweight Championship, successfully defending the title the following year. He won the title yet again in 2015, again defending the title a further three times. During this time he became very well known and well respected among fans and his peers, making a name for himself in the sport and marking himself out as one to watch. After five years with M-1 Global Emeev was snapped up by the UFC where he has competed ever since.
