Romelu Menama Lukaku Bolingoli is a Belgian international footballer born in Antwerp on 1993. His father Roger Lukaku was a professional footballer who was capped internationally for Zaire. Lukaku is best recognised for playing for Inter Milan as a striker. At only 5 years old he was a member of his local team, Rupel Boom. Four years later he was scouted by Lierse, a Belgian Pro League club. He joined their youth academy then progressed to play for Lierse from 2004 where he was a prolific goal scorer.
In 2006 he was bought by Anderlecht, where he first played as a senior at only sixteen. He became the top goal scorer in the league and in 2011 he signed for Chelsea, before he was put on loan to West Bromwich Albion in 2012. He next joined Everton on loan, which became a transfer with a fee of £28 million in 2014. He was featured in the PFA Team of the year in 2016 -17. In 2017 he was transferred to Manchester United.
He moved to Inter Milan in 2019 with an 80 million Euro transfer.
In 2010 at Age seventeen, Lukaku first played in the Belgian senior team. He has since featured in 84 games and has been involved in the FIFA World Cup tournaments and the UEFA European Championship. At the 2018 World Cup he was the joint second top goal scorer.
