Reality television star Sandra Diaz-Twine is known for winning two series of Survivor, and for appearing as a mentor on the show.
Having previously served in the US Army as a chemical repair specialist and office administrator, Diaz-Twine came in as an underdog in her first season of Survivor. However, she quickly formed alliances and emerged as one of the most strategic players in the game, using her language skills and manipulation tactics to work her way to the top. She became known as one of the strongest competitors of the season, eventually going on to win the series. Diaz-Twine then returned for another season of the show, again quickly proving herself to be a strong player who could build key alliances and play strategically. She once again made it through to the final of the competition, and won again, making her the first ever contestant to win two series of the show. By now she was a fan favourite, and returned again both as a competitor and later as a mentor on the programme.
Most recently Diaz-Twine has turned her attention to her family, and now works while raising her two children with her husband in North Carolina. She is a legendary figure in the world of reality TV, and will go down in television history as one of Survivor’s iconic players.
