Sean Thomsen

Sean Thomsen is a reality TV star who appeared on series five of Married at First Sight Australia. After his appearance on the show, he revealed that he was going to be releasing a book detailing everything that wasn’t shown on screen.
Thomsen was paired with Blair on the show, but quickly decided that she wasn’t for him and called off the marriage before their relationship could go anywhere. He then paired up with Tracy Jewell, one of his other co-stars. However, they also called it quits after five months and Thomsen went off the grid for a while. He has very little online presence for a reality star, but is taking his career to the next level with his book.
His book, named ‘Married Lies…Secrets Behind Reality TV’, threatens to expose the secrets of shows such as Married At First Sight. The book not only talks about the ways in which the show is deceiving, but it also discusses self-help and dealing with insecurity, particularly when you find yourself in the limelight.
Thomsen cut his ties from the programme and opted not to be in the reunion special of the show, but following his ordeal with the programme, he’s paving his own way. Since his book was released with mixed reviews, he’s also spoken to the press several times, further exposing the world of reality TV and destructive media.
