Orville Richard Burrell, professionally known as Shaggy, is a Jamaican reggae rapper, singer, and songwriter who has become a household name in the music industry. Born on 22nd October 1968 in Kingston, Jamaica, he grew up in a family where music was a way of life. He was constantly exposed to different genres of music and artists, which sparked his interest in pursuing a career in music.
Shaggy first gained attention in 1993 with his debut album “Pure Pleasure”, which showcased his unique blend of reggae, dancehall, and rap.
