Simon Geschke

Simon Geschke, born on March 13, 1986, in Berlin, Germany, began his professional cycling career in 2009. His early years in the sport were spent developing his skills as a strong climber and a reliable team player. Geschke quickly established himself in the professional peloton, riding for teams such as Skil-Shimano, which later became Team Giant-Alpecin and Team Sunweb, before joining CCC Team and Cofidis. Throughout his career, he participated in numerous significant races, including multiple Grand Tours and Classics, demonstrating consistent performance and dedication.

A significant milestone in Geschke’s career occurred in 2015 when he secured a stage win at the Tour de France, a prestigious achievement in professional cycling. This victory showcased his capabilities as a breakaway rider. Further achievements include winning the Grand Prix of Aargau Canton in 2014 and the Mountains Classification at the 2019 Tour de Pologne.
