Simon Kassianides

Simon Kassianides is a versatile actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, recognized for his expansive work across television and film, including roles in ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’. After producing and executive producing a sold-out run of the musical ‘Grease’ at the George Square Theatre, with all profits benefiting Macmillan Cancer Support, Simon Kassianides was discovered by BAFTA award-winning producer Piers Vellacott following his graduation in 2002. Kassianides made his critically acclaimed stage debut as Pedro in Tennessee Williams’ ‘Night of the Iguana.’ His early career also included being featured in the BBC documentary ‘Making it at Holby,’ which highlighted him as an emerging actor. He quickly built a diverse acting portfolio, appearing in notable British television series such as ‘Casualty,’ ‘Spooks,’ ‘Ashes to Ashes,’ and ‘Hustle.’ In 2008, Kassianides made his major film debut as Yusef in the James Bond blockbuster ‘Quantum of Solace.’ Kassianides expanded his reach to US television, securing roles in series including ‘Nikita’ and ‘Burn Notice.’ From 2014 to 2017, he portrayed Sunil Bakshi in Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, a recurring role across multiple seasons.

He is slated to direct the upcoming feature film ‘The Walker’ for Warner Bros Sweden, with production anticipated for 2025, further solidifying his position as a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry.
