Former PFL Heavyweight Champion Smealinho Rama is a mixed martial artist with Greek-Canadian heritage.
Rama burst onto the MMA scene with the Maximum Fighting Championship back in 2012, going unbeaten in the first 6 matches of his career. He became well known as a promising talent in the sport and two years later made the move to the World Series of Fighting. In the same year he was named as the first ever WSOF Heavyweight Champion at just 22 years old. Over the next few years he would continue to put in strong performances and become known as a formidable opponent in the ring. He often dominates matches, winning by knockout several times and marking himself out as a fierce competitor. During his professional career he has fought a total of 17 bouts, and has only lost 5, an impressive track record. In 2017 the World Series of Fighting became the Professional Fighters League, with Rama fighting in the inaugural match of the newly named promotion. The following year he competed in the PFL Light Heavyweight Tournament, showcasing his skill in the ring with several closely fought bouts. He made it through to the semifinals of the contest, reaffirming his reputation as a consistent and talented fighter.
