Smosh is a popular YouTube channel. It started off as little more than a comedy duet consisting of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, a pair of childhood friends. Smosh grew from a single channel of two teenagers making short sketches to a massive brand with a full cast, six official channels, multiple awards and nominations, various video games and merchandise, a fully scripted series, one YouTube Premium film, and one theatrical film over the course of their 15 years on YouTube.

Smosh was acquired by Mythical Entertainment, a production firm founded by Rhett & Link of Good Mythical Morning, in 2019. Smosh has become a near-independent brand under Mythical Entertainment’s management, with the actors and crew making all of the content decisions. Their channels include Smosh Games, Smosh Pit, SmoshCast, EISmosh, Smosh France, and Shut Up! Cartoons. The channel’s cast has a core group of Hecox, Courtney Miller, Damien Haas, Olivia Sui, Keith Leak Jr., Noah Grossman, and Shayne Topp who run the majority of content.
