Steve J. Palmer

Steven J. Palmer was born on November 8, 1975, in New Hartford, New York, USA. In the late 1970s, his family relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he spent his formative years. He is an alumnus of Seabreeze High School and Daytona State College. Palmer furthered his education by earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of South Carolina Aiken and also completed studies at iO West. His career in entertainment began in the mid-2000s, with early roles in television series and video projects.

Palmer’s most notable work is his portrayal of the character Bill Williamson in the Red Dead Redemption video game franchise. He provided both the voice and motion capture for the short-tempered outlaw in Red Dead Redemption (2010), Red Dead Redemption: The Man From Blackwater (2010), and reprised the role in the prequel, Red Dead Redemption II (2018). Beyond his work in video games, Palmer has accumulated acting credits in various television productions. He has appeared in episodes of “Deadwood” (2006), “Emily’s Reasons Why Not” (2008), “House of Lies” (2014), “Queen Gorya” (2014), and “Big City Greens” (2023), where he lent his voice to the character Yo-Yo Cowboy. He also took on the role of Professor Avil Solemncrest in “Moonbound24: The Webseries” (2017) and “Moonbound24: The Movie” (2016).

In addition to his acting pursuits, Palmer has also engaged in production work. He served as associate producer for “Moonbound24: The Webseries” (2017) and held the role of executive producer for “Lulu and the Electric Dreamboat” (2023), in which he also acted as Trevor McDonagh. His career demonstrates a sustained involvement in both on-screen and behind-the-scenes capacities within the entertainment industry, contributing to various projects across different mediums.
