Sven Ruygrok is an energetic South African born actor. He is best known for his role as Rambo in the Spud franchise, which sees Ruygrok act opposite John Cleese, the celebrated actor involved of Monty Python, who was nominated for an Oscar.

Ruygrok’s filmography includes such Box Office hits as Zulu, with Orlando Bloom and Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack. Bring It On sees the actor use his gymnastic skills, as he is trained as a national gymnast and was even selected to perform for the Cirque Du Soleil while still in high-school, with the movie itself being critically acclaimed as another brilliant installment in the Bring It On franchise. Ruygrok has also starred in A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits, Samson, alongside Titanic and Back To The Future star Billy Zane, and most recently Inside Man: Most Wanted. The actor is also a keen theatre fan, starring in shows such as EQUUS, Shakespeare in Love and The Mother – often working with The Fugard Theatre in Cape Town.
