Rising star Talia Suskauer is a musical theatre actress based in New York who recently starred in the Munchkinland National Tour of Wicked as Elphaba. She has starred in Be More Chill on Broadway and on Off-Broadway, and has also appeared in numerous regional productions including The Secret Garden as Lily Cracven, as Jo March in Little Women, as Rosa Bud in the Mystery of Edwin Drood and in the starring role of Fiona in Shrek The Musical.
Hailing from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Suskauer attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts before learning her trade at the Penn State University in 2018, where she earned a BFA in Musical Theatre. In 2015 she was chosen as a Young Arts winner in Theatre Arts whilst in her freshman year at Penn State. Shortly after graduating from University, she made her Off-Broadway debut at the Signature Theatre in New York in Be More Chill. She then stayed with the production as it moved to Broadway and the Lyceum Theatre in February 2019, staying with the show until it closed in August the same year.
Shortly after her run with Be More Chill ended she got another big break when she landed the coveted starring role of Elphaba in the long-running tour of Wicked in North America. Suskauer has already delighted audiences around the US as her star continues to rise.
