Tatsiana Lahvinovich Galchun is a former Professional Ballroom Dancer, specializing in the International Style Latin division. She parlayed her significant competitive success into roles as a WDSF Licensed Adjudicator, instructor, and dance studio co-owner in Slovenia. After being invited to Slovenia to partner with Zoran Plohl in 2000, Tatsiana Lahvinovich Galchun immediately made an impact, winning the 2000 Slovenian 10 Dance Championship and securing third place in Latin the same year despite limited preparation. This pivotal collaboration quickly escalated to international recognition, placing fourth at the 10 Dance European Championship in 2000, marking her transition to representing Slovenia on the global stage.
Their dominance continued, as they were crowned WDSF World Professional Latin Champions in 2012 and secured the esteemed German Open Championship (GOC) Professional Latin title the same year. Further cementing their status, they earned the European Championship Adult PD Latin title in Velenje, Slovenia (2012) and in Moscow, Russia (2013), alongside the European Cup Adult PD Latin in Baia Mare, Romania (2012). Their partnership also distinguished itself as four-time WDSF GrandSlam Latin Champions. Following her retirement from competitive dancing in 2013, Tatsiana Lahvinovich Galchun channeled her extensive experience and championship pedigree into new leadership roles within the international dance community.
Through her multifaceted contributions as an adjudicator, coach, and studio leader, she continues to exert significant influence on the global competitive dance landscape, consistently developing top talent and upholding the highest standards of the sport.
