Taylor Gray

Taylor Arthur Gray was born on September 7, 1993, in Whittier, California. He began his television career with an appearance in “Numb3rs” in 2007, followed by a role in “Hawthorne” in 2009. His early career also included a role in the 2007 film “The Take.” In 2011, Gray took on a titular role as Bucket in Nickelodeon’s “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures,” which ran for 26 episodes until 2013. During this period, he also featured in the 2012 Warner Bros.’ film “Thunderstruck,” starring alongside Kevin Durant and Jim Belushi.

Gray’s prominence grew significantly when he voiced Ezra Bridger in LucasFilm’s animated television series “Star Wars Rebels,” appearing in 75 episodes from 2014 to 2018. This role established him within the science fiction franchise community. Following this, he was cast in the 2015 film “Walt Before Mickey” as animator Friz Freleng. In 2017, he played Karlis Kanderovskis in 4 episodes of “In the Vault.” His television work continued with a recurring role as José in “American Princess” in 2019 and a guest appearance as Kahele in “Hawaii Five-0” the same year. He also voiced Young Micah in “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” in 2019.

More recently, Gray has taken on lead roles in films such as “The Wheel” (2021) as Walker and “High Expectations” (2022) as Jack Davis, where he played Kelsey Grammer’s son. He filmed the Boston-based caper “Any Day Now,” where he plays Steve Baker, set for release in 2025. In 2024, he appeared as Al Franken in “Saturday Night.” His upcoming projects include “Terrestrial” (2025) as Anton and “Renner” (2025) as Chad. In addition to acting, Gray has experience as a producer and writer, specifically for the short films “Audience of One” (2014) and “De Moda” (2018). He pursued an MA at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and has stage credits including “Richard III” and “The Revenger’s Tragedy.”
