Thibault Rossard is a talented French professional volleyball player who is a cherished member of the French men’s national volleyball team. He had the great honor of participating in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and was part of the superb team that won the 2017 FIVB World League. He currently plays in the Outside Hitter position for the top-flight Polish club Asseco Resovia.
Descending from a family line of skilled volleyball players, including his brother, grandfather and cousin, Rossard has possessed a natural affinity for the sport from a young age. After a successful run at university while playing for Spacer’s de Toulouse from 2011 to 2015, Rossard kicked off his professional career in an amazing way by winning silver at the 2015/2016 French Championship with top-flight French team Arago de Sète. What followed was an impressive career in which Rossard travelled widely and played for some of the best teams in countries including Poland, Turkey and Italy. In 2016 he was named Most Valuable Player and Best Receiver at the French Championship.
Something of a national icon, Rossard is one of the best players in France and is sure to continue dominating at the highest level of the sport.
