Mexican-American professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Thunder Rosa fights in the National Wrestling Alliance and Women of Wrestling.
Thunder Rosa made her professional fighting debut in 2014, joining the Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom. She competed in a battle royale for her first fight with the team, going on to travel to Japan to represent them there. In 2015 she made the move to wrestling TV show Lucha Underground, appearing in their TV series as Kobra Moon and being nominated for the Rookie of the Year Award for her efforts in her first year. She stayed with the show for the next four years, winning the 2016 Southern California Women’s Wrestler of the Year Award and going on to make several appearances for Ring of Honor throughout 2018 and 2019, cementing her reputation as a high profile wrestler. Thunder Rosa continued to put in good performances across the independent circuit, appearing in several fights for the Women of Wrestling promotion which she continues to work for now.
Most recently, Thunder Rosa has made several exciting appearances for Tokyo Joshi Pro including in the International Princess Championship. She also made her debut television performance for the National Wrestling Alliance in 2019, quickly followed by her first fight for All Elite Wrestling who she has worked with ever since. This talented and committed athlete is an important figure in the world of women’s wrestling, having just launched her own independent promotion, Mission Pro Wrestling, and signed with mixed martial arts franchise Combate Americas.
