Toni Ann Gisondi

Toni Ann Gisondi is a former child actress who transitioned into a career as a substitute teacher and occasional performer, known for her role in the 1982 film “Annie”. After captivating audiences as Molly, the youngest orphan, in the critically acclaimed 1982 film adaptation of the musical Annie, Toni Ann Gisondi quickly established herself in the entertainment industry. Her poignant performance, at just six years old, earned her a nomination for ‘Best Young Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture’ at the prestigious 1981–1982 Young Artist Awards. Gisondi also lent her vocal talents to the film’s best-selling soundtrack album, performing memorable songs including ‘It’s The Hard-Knock Life’ and ‘You’re Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile (Dressed Children).’ She further expanded her early career that same year with a role as a student in the made-for-television movie, The Children’s Story.
