Wong Kar-wai, a celebrated Hong Kong film director, screenwriter and producer, is renowned for crafting visually mesmerizing and chic films that delve into themes of yearning and unrequited love. Hailing from Shanghai, Wong relocated to Hong Kong during his childhood years. While pursuing graphic design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he developed a passion for the art of film.
