Television personality and reality TV star Zach Nichols shot to fame when he appeared on The Real World: San Diego and The Challenge.
Originally from Michigan, Nichols studied at Northern Michigan University where he graduated in sports science and exercise physiology. On leaving university he worked at a physical therapy clinic, as well as playing semi-professional football in his free time. In 2011 he first appeared on reality television, joining the cast of The Real World, in which young people from different backgrounds live together and explore how they form relationships. He later returned to a spin-off of the show, The Challenge, a reality TV game show in which contestants compete for a cash prize. Nichols became one of the most well known cast members on the show, winning over audiences with his big personality and desire to avoid on-screen drama. He has appeared in numerous series of the show, starring in the programme for an impressive eight years. He started a relationship with a fellow contestant while filming for one of the series of The Challenge, and the couple are now engaged.
Having reached the finals of multiple series of The Challenge, Nichols has become a widely recognised television personality, having proved he has what it takes to win over his contestants and win challenges. He’s built up a reputation as a strong team player, and looks set for many more years in the world of TV.
