LaLa Ri headlines Kent State University’s Sex Week Drag Show

Drag performer LaLa R took the stage at one of Kent State’s exciting events.

Drag queen LaLa Ri headlined Kent State University’s Sex Week Drag Show last month courtesy of MN2S. Taking place October 25th at the Kent State Ballroom, the event saw over 800 students and staff enjoy a three-hour show featuring eight drag queens and plenty of fun. In addition to performing two musical numbers, Ri hosted the event alongside junior student Frutisha Punch. LaLa Ri is a drag queen best known for her appearance on the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She placed tenth overall and became the first queen in the show’s history to receive The Golden Boot Award. Ri is also a music artist, having released the song Bad Bitch Tip in 2021.
