DJ, radio host, producer and musician Paris Cesvette was asked to DJ at streaming platform and digital music store Beatport’s live panel discussion on music marketing, Rising Above The Noise. The third instalment in the three-part series Decoding The Music Industry, the panel saw host Emilie Birks joined by Lynda Phoenix (Beatport), Aly McHugh (Listen Up) and Jay Ahmed (Your Army) to discuss music promotion, branding and strategy in 2023. Paris Cesvette soundtracked the evening with a stellar DJ set featuring classic and contemporary selections of soulful, jazzy house. “They asked me to come and DJ for the event, which was absolutely wonderful,” Paris tells us. “My role at the event was to be the vibe provider!”
