MN2S artist, vocalist and Snap! frontwoman Penny Ford is recognised for her talents by an induction into the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame.

Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer Penny Ford has been inducted into the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame. Last week, Hamilton County Commissioner and Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame founder Alicia Reece unveiled the 2022 class of inductees, which includes singer Penny Ford, techno-funk band Midnight Star, jazz musician Wilbert Longmire and mega-producer Hi-Tek. Penny Ford is best known as the vocalist for pioneering Eurodance outfit Snap! As the group’s leads singer, Ford accrued international fame and presided over the release of their 1990 debut album, World Power, which has since sold over 7 million copies worldwide. The album featured the hits “The Power”, “Cult of Snap” and “Mary Had a Little Boy”, which have sold over nine million records in total. Ford has also found success and a solo artist, and a member of the groups Klymaxx and Soul II Soul.
