Posting across social media while appearing on Lorraine, Sky Sunrise, Channel 5 and ITV News, Laurence has shared his own experiences while urging others to educate themselves on the symptoms of the disease so that it can be diagnosed and treated as early as possible, remarking that “there remains a huge lack of awareness around blood cancer and its symptoms – probably because it does not always have an obvious or visible manifestation. That’s why it’s so important that we talk about it and educate ourselves around it.”

“I am supporting the Make Blood Cancer Visible campaign because the earlier you catch blood cancer, the better your chances are of surviving it. I wouldn’t want any other child to go through what me and my family went through.”
