Iconic house music DJ and producer Armand Van Helden has announced a UK show at Chelmsford Racecourse next August.
Van Helden is one of the most revered names in house and garage music. He has a huge fanbase in Britain thanks to classic floor-fillers like ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ ‘My My My,’ and ‘Bonkers’ (his chart-topping collab with Dizzee Rascal.) On August 30th 2025, he’ll be playing those hits and many more when he headlines the final night of the Chelmsford Summer Sessions series at Chelmsford City Racecourse in Essex.

Chelmsford Racecourse announced the event by saying, “Armand Van Helden has solidified his place as a pioneer in the electronic and house music scenes. Performing on the concert stage he will provide the soundtrack to our famous end of summer party.”
Armand Van Helden has been a presence on the dance music scene since the mid-1980s. He released his first records in the early 1990s and closed the decade by topping the charts with the likes of ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ and his remix of Tori Amos’ ‘Professional Widow.’ He has remained in demand ever since, remixing the likes of Katy Perry, David Guetta, and Britney Spears. As well as his contributions to house music, he is also regarded as a pioneer of speed garage.
