David Morales Releases 'Found Love' | News | MN2S

Grammy award-winning DJ and producer David Morales has released the new single ‘Found Love’ by Blind Colors featuring Melonie Daniels Walker.

The track, officially billed as “David Morales Presents Blind Colors ‘Found Love’ feat. Melonie Daniels Walker,” was released on 8th February on Def Mix Music.

It features powerful soul vocals from Melonie Daniels Walker, who was Chief Background Vocalist, Vocal Director, and Vocal Arranger for Mariah Carey for 12 years, and has many other musical achievements under her belt. The lush gospel choir arrangements are evidence of Walker’s talents.

‘Found Love’ was inspired by ‘Now That We Found Love,’ the Gamble & Huff-penned song made famous by the O’Jays and later Third World. Morales’ track is the most upbeat iteration of this song yet, with a relentlessly colourful palette of instruments and sounds and a pumping drum machine beat.

After remixing Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, Pet Shop Boys and both Michael and Janet Jackson, Morales was one of the original superstar DJs and one of the first to tour the world. This soulful house track clearly shows Morales is still at the top of his game. He has already toured Europe and Japan in the first two months of 2016 alone, and he has two Ibiza shows lined up for the summer. It is a good time to be a fan of the New York DJ.
