We are pleased to welcome new Black Butter Records signing Embody to the MN2S booking agency DJ roster this week.
The Lithuanian-born, London-based producer has been making waves with his prolific output, his bold take on modern vocal house music dubbed ‘tropical soul’ by some. With support from some of the biggest dance music channels on YouTube like MrSuicideSheep and MrDeepSense, his tracks have racked up millions of plays – with remixes of the likes of Rudimental (‘I Will For Love’), Lana Del Rey (a bootleg of ‘Once Upon A Dream’), John Newman (‘Come And Get It’), Honne (‘Warm On A Cold Night’), Milky Chance (‘Stolen Dance’) and Laura Welsh (‘Break The Fall’) all marking him out as a seriously talented producer.
He has also recorded with vocalists on his own original productions include A*M*E and emerging talents Camden Cox (‘Dreamin’) and Pepper Rose. Working with live musicians and playing the piano and other instruments himself, his sound continues to evolve and bridge the gap between the organic and the electronic.
Praise for his work has come from the likes of Earmilk and TheFourOhFive. Pete Tong has thrown his support behind Embody on his legendary Essential Selection show on BBC Radio 1, while new singles have been snapped up by Black Butter and Armada Music for 2016. With a debut USA tour lined up for February 2016, he looks set to bring through into the big leagues.
