We are pleased to welcome house/tech DJ and producer Habsichman to the MN2S booking agency DJ roster this week.
His first foray into the spotlight was in 2008, when he participated in Red Bull Music Academy’s residency in Barcelona as one of their chosen applicants. His ‘year’ included luminaries such as Jamie Woon and Skepta. ‘Time To Fall’ on Noir Music in 2012 proved to be his breakthrough hit, and lead to him remixing Noir & Haze’s huge ‘Around’ for Defected, alongside releases on Get Physical, VIVa Music and many others. With his love of melodic synth lines and solid, thumping grooves, his is a sound that works for both the head and the hips.
He has collaborated with the likes of Thomas Gandey, Cari Golden, Louisahhh and most recently Hot Since 82, with their track ‘Leave Me’ on Moda Black stacking up an incredible 600,000 plays across YouTube, SoundCloud and Spotify alone. The track also reached #2 on Beatport’s Deep House chart, cementing his name as one of the most exciting of the current wave of breakthrough producers. Mixmag premiered Dubfire’s remix of the track this week, which will be released on a limited edition red vinyl and digitally. With 35,000 plays in five days, it’s on the way to becoming another big hit.
With a remix of Quivver’s ‘Wait For You’ on Dave Seaman’s Selador label and a release just signed to Sincopat, the rest of the year is looking seriously exciting for this talented producer.
