Omid 16B was the featured artist in Balance’s latest Balance Selections podcast.

Balance admit that the term “legend” is overused on the internet today, but in Omid 16B’s case, they argue, it is “extremely justified.”

That’s why they chose Omid 16B for the latest episode of their Balance Selections podcast. The podcast sees the DJ-producer on top form, selecting and mixing tracks from the likes of Theo Parrish, Mono-Poly, Nathan Johnson and many more.

The accompanying article features an interview with Omid 16B, where he delves into his early musical experiences. Omid names Laurent Garnier, Matthew Bushwacka and Carl Cox as key influences, and names Valgeir Sigurdsson as an artist whose recent work he has very much enjoyed.

As for his own music, Omid 16B teases his long-awaited new studio album, which he says is rooted in his own personal memories, with every track carrying a special significance. He also discusses his upcoming Loopmasters series release, which will give producers the chance to use samples of Omid 16B’s signature sounds.
