Beatport LINK is the first subscription streaming service for DJs | News | MN2S

The digital music giant is launching a subscription-based streaming service for live DJing.

In a bold move that could have a profound effect on the way DJs perform, Beatport have unveiled a new subscription service that allows DJs to stream their entire library within performance software. Developed in collaboration with Pioneer, Beatport LINK enables users to access more than seven million songs and themed playlists, while giving them the option to put together their own playlists and charts.

Launching at a competitive price point of $14.99 a month, the service is now available as a 30-day free trial. LINK integrates with Pioneer’s existing DJ performance software rekordbox and offers DJs the ability to mix in offline performance mode. Alongside LINK, Beatport are releasing a beta version of Beatport CLOUD, which enables users to preview tracks, re-download previously purchased tracks and collate their selections in a personalised library.

“The launch of Beatport LINK exhibits our commitment to creating the best possible experience for our expanding ecosystem of DJs, and we can think of no better partner than Pioneer DJ for the service’s first software integration.”
