MN2S is delighted to announce the signing of the brand new Coffey Cuts Records label.

Coffey Cuts is the new label from soulful house producer and DJ Trevor Davy (better known as Prefix One) and fellow international DJ Lee Coffey.

Davy and Coffey both have experience on the label side of the industry. Trevor is the Director of Severe Imprint Records and Lee is Head of A&R for Blackmarket Records and Ultra Vinyl Records. The two founders bring years of experience to Coffey Cuts as label executives and DJs.

Coffey Cuts was founded to focus on Trevor Davy’s soulful house productions as Prefix One. Forming the label was a natural step for Lee and Trevor since they have worked together successfully in the past and share a love for creative soulful house.

So far Coffey Cuts has put out four releases. Their first was the track ‘Never Gonna Let You Go’ by Prefix One feat. Janaisha Wade. Wade provided soul-soaked vocals for Prefix One’s retake on this sing-along classic.

Next was ‘It Is What It Is’, another soulful house gem from Prefix One, this time featuring Andrae Melody Palmer delivering rapid semi-rapped vocals. Both of these tracks came with three different mixes from Prefix One.

The label’s next release, ‘Grateful’ by Prefix One feat. Vanity Jay was Coffey Cuts’ most danceable tune yet. This time the release included no less than seven remixes, displaying Trevor Davy’s endless creativity.

Finally, we come to the label’s latest release. ‘Live to Love’ is another Prefix One release, once again featuring Janaisha Wade on vocals. ‘Live to Love’ might be Coffey Cuts’ best release so far. The song is smooth and soulful as anything they have released, and the vocal hooks are catchier than ever.

Now with its releases handled by MN2S, Coffey Cuts is set to reach even greater heights, bringing in remixers from booking agency’s extensive roster, and expanding its own repertoire of releases.
