Our label management team is pleased to welcome a new label to the roster: Black Don Group.
Headed up by rapper, musician and producer Demetrius Taylor, Black Don Group is a tight-knit collective of hip-hop artists and producers, made up of TXYLOR (the label head himself), Rico Slim, RKLA, Ru Heart, and Uriah. Recently launched, the imprint aims to showcase the varied talents of its members – with two album releases already primed and ready to drop, Black Don Group are set to hit the ground running. Working alongside MN2S, BDG are relying on our experienced Label Services department to distribute their music digitally while helping them realise their creative vision.
Now that I’ve got so many talented artists on my team, I’m gonna focus on making sure everyone reaches their full potential. I envision BDG becoming one of the most talked about independent label in the next couple years or so. We have already have some phenomenal artists, and we’ll definitely be expanding soon.

Taylor’s collective and label grew organically, as he and long-time friend Rico $lim spent several years working together on music after meeting at high school. As they rapped together and honed in on the sound they were looking for, the crew expanded, with Uriah, Ru Heart and RKLA eventually teaming up to form what’s now known as Black Don Group. Their first release in their schedule is an all-new LP from Uriah Jordan – “be on the look out for his debut”, Taylor says.
I’m overly excited to share this music we have with the world, it’s just a matter of time before the BDG takeover.
