10-piece hip-hop outfit Dat Brass will headline Mardi Gras celebrations at Pop Brixton on February 24th.
The North London group are known for their eclectic combination of hip-hop beats, live drums, rapping, scratching, and, of course, a powerful brass section. With unrivaled energy in their sets, comprised of hip-hop favourites, original numbers and brass ‘remixes’, Dat Brass are the perfect choice for a Mardi Gras party.Pop Brixton’s event promises to be an immersive experience, transporting punters to New Orleans’ French Quarter. The night will feature fancy dress, Louisiana-themed food, and a host of stellar support acts, including Dom & the Ikos, and DJ Lil’ Koko.When they get home from Mardi Gras, Dat Brass will continue work on their second full-length album, the follow-up to 2017’s acclaimed Half-Time on Foundry Records.
