En Vogue to release new album in March | News | MN2S

R&B legends En Vogue will release their seventh studio album, Electric Cafe, on March 30th.

En Vogue have announced the release date for their highly-anticipated seventh studio album, which will be available everywhere at the end of March. Electric Cafe will feature the single ‘Rocket’, which premiered last month via Essence.

The new album comes off the back of a year of touring for En Vogue. The group’s For the Love of Music Tour saw them visit many prestigious venues in Europe, including London’s KOKO and Amsterdam’s Paradiso. En Vogue also toured Australia with Ne-Yo, who penned the lyrics for ‘Rocket’. Other guest contributions to the album will come from Snoop Dogg, and veteran producer/songwriter Raphael Saadiq (known most recently for co-producing Solange’s A Seat at the Table album).

Electric Cafe will be the latest in a string of classic En Vogue albums. The group’s 1990 debut Born to Sing was a hit in itself, but En Vogue reached new heights with 1992’s Funky Divas and its 1997 follow-up EV3. The group released three more albums between 2000 and 2004, but Electric Cafe will be the first new En Vogue album in over a decade. Needless to say, expectations are high.

Book En Vogue now to bring the funky divas to your venue.
