Eve joins CBS' The Talk | News | MN2S

Musician and actress Eve has joined the hit US talk show The Talk as a co-host.

The Talk is one of America’s most-watched daytime shows, airing from Monday to Friday at 2pm on CBS. Eve now co-hosts the show alongside Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen. She has taken over from previous co-host Aisha Tyler, who left the show in October.

Eve, the rapper behind such hits as the Grammy-winning ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ and ‘Gangsta Lovin’’, is no stranger to getting in front of the camera. Her acting career has spanned movies like xXx, Whip It, and the Barbershop franchise. She also starred in her own sitcom Eve, and hosted the VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens special.

Recorded in LA, The Talk hosts discuss the burning issues of each day, bringing in their own perspectives as women in showbusiness, and inviting special guests to share their stories. Eve has previously guest-hosted the show, but as a full time host, she will become an integral part of US daytime TV.

Despite this, Eve has by no means moved away from music. Having recently completed the massive This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour with ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ and ‘Rich Girl’ collaborator Gwen Stefani, Eve is available for more live bookings now.
