Jah Cure wins Grammy nomination | News | MN2S

MN2S artist Jah Cure’s 2015 album The Cure has been nominated for a Grammy.

The Cure is one of the five nominees for the Best Reggae Album award at the 2015 Grammys, taking place in Los Angeles on February 15 2016.

The album topped the Billboard Reggae Album chart when it was released in July, and thanks to the grammy nomination, and some vigorous campaigning from Jah Cure and his team, it is back at the top of the charts this week.

Written, produced and performed by Jah Cure and his closest collaborators, the album is a modern take on classic roots reggae and lovers rock. It was praised upon release by specialist reggae critics and mainstream critics alike. Songs include slow-burning laments like ‘Corruption’, and upbeat celebrations like ‘The Life We Live’, and Jah Cure’s trademark love songs like ‘Show Love’, which segues into John Legend cover ‘All of Me’ – a song that sounds better than ever in Jah Cure’s arrangement.

Musically, Jah Cure has never been better. The Cure is an album from a man at his artistic peak. We’ll be rooting for Jah Cure come the Grammy ceremony.
