Kumbia Kings are a bilingual group known for blending traditional cumbia with hip-hop, R&B, and reggae influences. Formed in the late ’90s by Cruz Martínez and A.B. Quintanilla, they gained a strong following with a string of chart-topping hits and a fresh take on Latin music. In 2019, original members from both early lineups reunited under Martínez, bringing the group back into the spotlight and picking up right where they left off. Their return has been marked by sold-out shows and a renewed energy that stays true to their roots while evolving with the times.
