DJ Kungs and MN2S artist Kylie Auldist have knocked Drake off the top to reach number 1

‘This Girl’, a track produced by the 19 year old French DJ Kungs, has done the impossible, and knocked Drake’s ‘One Dance’ off the top spot in the UK Chart. The track, which is a remix of 3 Cookers’ Burning original version, features the powerful and soulful vocals of Kylie Auldist.

Kylie, who now lives in Melbourne, originally toured across the world as a member of the 3 soul sensations named ‘The Bamboos’. She later went on to feature on 3 Cookers’ Burning original recording of ‘This Girl’, which appeared on the band’s album ‘Soul Messin’ in 2009.

Kylie has released three solo albums herself and her fourth, and highly anticipated studio release is to drop in July. This will feature her classic, soulful sound, that so many know her well for.

She is now set to be touring as a solo artist primarily in the UK, performing her greatest hits, and the current UK number 1 single. Having become hugely popular in countries such as Belgium, France and Australia, ‘This Girl’ has now reached no. 2 in the Shazaam Worldwide Chart, beating the likes of pop royalty Calvin Harris, Rihanna and Sia.
