International trendsetter Silentó has announced his 2017 European tour

Silentó, the young artist behind worldwide hit ‘Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)’ is embarking on a European tour this month, visiting many of the continent’s biggest cities and venues including Brussels, Luxembourg and Antwerp. The tour will also cover Qatar, with what is sure to be a well-received stop in Doha later in the month.

The singer-songwriter burst onto the music scene in 2015 with his debut single ‘Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)’ on Capitol Records. The single was accompanied by a music video that featured Silentó instructing viewers in how to successfully execute various Hip-Hop dance moves from over the years, including the titular “whip” and “nae nae” moves, alongside Soulja Boy’s classic “superman” and the influential “stanky leg”.

The video was a viral hit (as discussed in an MN2S feature on artists who went viral). The tour will give Silentó fans in Europe the chance to really watch him in person.

Last year Silentó teamed up with K Pop superstar Punch to release ‘Spotlight’, which was hugely popular in its country of origin. Always in the studio, Silentó has a lot of new music on the way, aiming to build on his international popularity.
