Wyclef Jean has taken the internet by storm with his NPR Tiny Desk Concert performance.

At the end of the summer, Wyclef Jean released his long-awaited new studio album Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee to great acclaim from fans and critics alike. Rolling Stone called it “music that celebrates diversity and encourages musical discovery and emotional response,” noting that Jean “hasn’t lost his knack for bending and fusing genres.”

Two months later, Wyclef has performed for NPR’s hugely popular Tiny Desk Concert series in a video that has been picked up by the likes of Billboard, XXLMag and Noisey, who says the video is “scientifically proven to make you happy.”

In the video, Jean performs two Carnival III album tracks—’Borrowed Time’ and ‘Turn Me Good’ — along with a joyous new rendition of his eternal classic ‘Gone Til November’. He puts his polymathic talents on display by playing bass, keyboard and electric guitar at various points in the performance, as well as rapping and singing. Without a doubt, Wyclef brought a major performance to the tiny NPR office.
