The gifted singer-songwriter spoke about his latest EP, Tattoo, with All Access Music.
Hailing from Williamsburg, Virginia, Grech is part of a new wave of alt-pop singer-songwriters harnessing the power of TikTok to build a global audience. He has amassed over 33,000 followers on the video-sharing platform and has racked up a staggering 1 million likes while his songs have been gathering thousands of listens on streaming services. The musician was recently interviewed by All Access Music, who spoke to him about his dream collaborators, musical aspirations, and his most recent release.

Grech has been honing his musical talents since childhood, but only began sharing his music with the public eighteen months ago. In that short space of time, he’s dropped two spectacular singles – ‘Run4My$’ and ‘Feel It’ – and the six-track Tattoo EP. All of Grech’s material showcases a well-rounded, self-assured artist with a strong voice, inventive lyrics, and above all, a natural gift for melody that ensures his songs stay in your head long after they’ve finished. ‘Finer Things’, the opening track on Tattoo is a perfect example: with jazzy instrumentation and effortless vocal harmonies, it radiates confidence and talent. After growing up in a highly musical household, Grech offers up an eclectic range of influences, from the contemporary (The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Young Thug) to the classic (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Billy Joel). He draws on all of these influences in different ways to create full-bodied, vibrant pop music for the next generation.
