Swindon-born rapper and grime artist Grim Sickers has got fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of his upcoming project. The swiftly rising rapper had a strong showing with the recently released single Boss Mode, featuring fellow grime heavyweight Bowzer Boss: that track appears on his latest mixtape Icons Only.
The rapper’s lyrical talent and natural flow has impressed Mike Skinner of The Streets, who signed him to his own label and jumped on his 2017 track ‘Open The Till’. Sickers returned the favour late last year, guesting alongside Chip on Skinner’s latest cut ‘Call Me in The Morning’. The buzz around Sickers clearly hasn’t gone unnoticed, with i-D Magazine including him in their Music Class of 2018 feature, and Frequency 21 magazine dubbing him “one of the best MCs in the game right now”.
