Inspirational Alyssa Castillo is a rising star on the Los Angeles television scene. She made her television debut in the first season of Like Mother, Like Daughter, an unscripted show that airs on Discovery+ and the Oprah Winfrey Network. Castillo and her mother went on a three-week retreat to work on their strained relationship. As the season continued, viewers fell in love with the younger Castillo, who was candid about her horrific childhood traumas as well as her young widowhood.
Castillo is a hardworking mother of five who grew up with horrific domestic and sexual violence. She became pregnant at the age of 14 and never completed high school. She fought back and graduated at the age of 23, something she should be proud of. She is currently following her aim of assisting other women and girls who have experienced similar experiences after appearing on Like Mother, Like Daughter. Castillo is passionate about becoming an advocate for suffering women, whether through motivational speeches or hands-on action. She’s setting an example by demonstrating that age doesn’t matter; you can always start over, fight back, and claim the happy ending you deserve.
