London vocalist Basheba is the latest name to join the MN2S booking agency live roster this week.
Fusing the sounds of R&B, blues, gospel, world music, drum and bass and more, she was born in the capital to Bajan parents – which provides yet another influence to her eclectic sound.
Her debut EP found support from SB-TV, MOBO, VEVO, BBC London, 1Xtra and Capital XTRA, while her track ‘Dirty Love (Your Love)’ was featured by Record Of The Day and received plays on Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss FM, MTV Base, AKA and Flava.
Working closely with photographer Luke Nugent to create striking, artistic visuals, she prides herself on matching evocative imagery to her music, and it’s a combination that is winning her fans in the fashion world as well as the music one.
