MN2S | News | 'Remote DJing' platform Deezey is coming

Billing itself as “the first online platform for DJs”, Deezey began publicising itself on message boards and in private messages and emails to DJs around the world this week.

Deezey “will allow DJs to play sets on small parties and events without the need to travel and move from home”, a prospect which has been met with fierce criticism from the dance music community.

As of the time of writing, Deezey has no official online presence and appears to be in what some start-ups term ‘stealth mode’.

It will be interesting to see if the service, which looks to have been inspired in part by the likes of Boiler Room and Be-At.TV, has any success in the face of such an early backlash.
