MN2S PR client and house producer/DJ Chris Stath drops his new solo album.
Prolific Brooklyn-based artist and producer Chris Stath drops his new solo album, To Lose, on
Friday 14th April. Featuring a collaboration with Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Sly5thAve,
its seven tracks are a deep, emotive mix of minimal house, breaks, cutting synth and samples, and
brooding vocal samples. To Lose reflects what Stath sees as a quest for connection — a quest to stay inspired and relevant in a world where more and more people and systems are struggling to cope and AI is increasingly taking creation and content out of human hands. In this context, the grinding synth patterns of ‘Timeless’ and ‘Intimacy’s contrast of sinister analogue keys and old-school computer game bleeps could be the soundtrack to a 2020s Bladerunner, underpinned by Stath’s clipped, chrome-like beats.

“The future is here,” Stath explains of his latest project. “And I want to keep inspiring others through
my creative work — my music — and bring hope to people. That’s all we can do: inspire others
through our work and through the process.”
