The transatlantic house duo spoke with TRRP for the latest edition of Behind The Headphones.
The Random Rave Project are a London-based “multifaceted events company”, a project that began as a promotions operation but has now grown into a record label, artist management agency and digital media platform that spotlights underground electronic music. The RRP run a weekly interview series, Behind The Headphones, which has seen the likes of DJ Spen, Richy Ahmed, Steve Lawler and Francesca Lombardo offer “an intimate peek into the artist behind the headphones.”
Digital Analog Hotel spoke with TRRP for the latest edition of their Behind The Headphones series. The pair opened up about their origin story, spoke on how they’ve adapted to the challenges posed by the pandemic and talked up their latest project: “For both of us, we’re just really happy how this album turned out. It was a concept we both thought was cool, utilising classic House and Garage beats and interpreting them in a new context. The fact it turned out as well as it did especially during the current situation was just really unexpected and we’re both really happy with the end result.”
“We were both bitten by the bug early on and have always strived to make a career from making electronic music, this current project is representative of where we are now with regards to our mutual tastes and interests.”
